MOBILITY

Are we too focused on who is winning the climate transition?

The more I’ve observed the largest players shape the climate transition, the more I’ve noticed something happening beyond the headlines: their movements are also creating opportunities for smaller, less visible pioneers to advance in parallel. We tend to equate visibility with significance. The companies, technologies, investments, and projects receiving the most attention can become proxies for the transition itself, while innovation is often distributed across interconnected systems, energy, infrastructure, markets, and humanitarian supply chains. That creates a question worth exploring: what are we missing when we focus on who appears to be winning, rather than on what their movements are making possible elsewhere? If the climate transition is less a race between dominant players and more a system of distributed movements, where is innovation accumulating that we cannot yet see? Of course, this is a personal observation rather than a predetermined conclusion, and an invitation to look at the transition from a different scale.

AI → Superintelligence Part II:

From Intelligence to Human Integration

AI Is Still Developing and in its infancy

Artificial intelligence is not a finished technology—it is an evolving capability. Today’s systems can perform extraordinary tasks, but they still struggle with inconsistency, uncertainty, physical-world context, and ambiguous human behavior. As AI moves toward more general forms of intelligence, the central issue is not just whether machines become smarter, but whether they become mature enough to operate safely beyond controlled conditions.

If the World is Changing: What Systems Do We Need?

Climate anxiety is about more than extreme weather. It is also about work, energy costs, technology, economic change and whether the systems around us are prepared to support people through transition.

What Are We Learning Together About AI and Responsibility as We Shape Our Future?

In a time when some present themselves as sharp‐minded “hoax busters,” challenging assumptions, questioning narratives, and insisting on clearer evidence, many of us are wondering how that same spirit of inquiry can help us think more responsibly about AI. This piece explores how collective curiosity, transparent data, and shared dialogue can guide us as we learn our way through rapid technological change, together.

AI Infrastructure: The Climate Bottleneck in AI Growth

AI’s Next Challenge May Be Less About Code, and More About the World Around Us. AI is advancing quickly, but the systems that support it, energy, water, data centers, and the power grid, are physical and local. They exist in our communities, use resources around us, and ultimately shape the places where we live and work. It’s tempting to make big predictions about what this means for AI’s future. But the reality is, we’re still learning. We don’t yet have enough information, infrastructure, or experience to know where the real limits will emerge, or how quickly we’ll adapt. Rather than viewing this as a simple constraint, I think it’s worth paying attention to what happens next. How do we build for growing demand while keeping the places and communities we share in mind? And can technological progress happen in a way that expands human potential without losing sight of the world that makes it possible?
